In Japan, RFID tags are as common as barcodes.
People pay their transport, goods and services by just
sweeping the phone near a transponder or tiny tags embedded
on various items.
RFID Art Server examines the concept of sharing the moments
of gallery visits with friends. Paying for, and transmitting
a time-limited reproduction of graphical works via the
net.
The art piece presents it self on flatscreen-frames in
the receivers home.
A functional service was tried out with
visitors and their friends on a art exhibition.
