Lagopus is a interactive purce with
embedded sensors and LED light
A project at spring semester 2005 at Oslo school of Design and Architecture
A purse is a god platform for wearable technology . The weight of batteries don´t apply much to the total weight.
Lagopus is inspired by Manga style, exclusive leather purses and the esthetics of aurora polaris
Materials : calf leather, lexan, satin and micro-controllers
Sensors: Zipper sensor. Mobile-phone sensor.
Applications: Oscillating LED light when mobile-phone inside the purse receives a call. Light when zipper is opened. Lights on constantly
The different functions is choosed by buttons on the strap.
